L. Brent Bozell
Founder, Parents Television Council
As
Founder of the Parents Television Council, it was Mr. Bozell’s vision which
ultimately led to the creation of the nation's most influential advocacy
organization protecting children against entertainment sex, violence and
profanity from it's founding in 1995 to 2006.
Mr. Bozell is also Founder and
President of the Media Research Center, the largest news media watchdog
organization in America. Established in 1987, the MRC has made "media bias" a
household term, tracking it daily and printing the compiled evidence on its
website, NewsBusters.org. In June 1998, Mr. Bozell launched CNSnews, an online
news service with an emphasis on investigative journalism. Mr. Bozell is a
nationally syndicated columnist commenting on politics and cultural issues, and
is frequently a guest on Fox News Channel shows such as Hannity and
The O'Reilly Factor, where he is one of the most effective national leaders
in the conservative movement today. Mr. Bozell received his B.A. in History from
the University of Dallas, and is married, with five children and two
grandchildren.
