L.A. Foothills Chapter of Parents Television Council Opened
La Crescenta Resident Named As Chapter Director
"Michele MacNeal personifies that adage if you want to get something done, give
it to a busy person," said PTC executive director Tim Winter. "She is a local
community activist and one who is committed to getting things done. We are
thrilled to have Michele join our grassroots team in this important leadership
role."
MacNeal is a licensed nurse with more than 17 years hospital experience and a
graduate of Biola University. She is involved in the national Mothers of Twin's
Club, serving as local chapter president, membership and social chairs. She was
relay center coordinator for the Samaritan's Purse: Operation Christmas Child.
"As a parent and as a nurse," MacNeal said, "I have seen the influences of
graphic sexual content and gratuitous sex in entertainment. They really do have
negative affects on our children. I am honored to establish this chapter and
work to reduce these influences for our children."
