CHAPTER DIRECTOR BIO:
This new chapter is headed by Vienna
resident Jim Lemon. Lemon will be responsible for implementing
PTC national grassroots initiatives locally.
Lemon holds a Master's Degree from
George Washington University and has worked in various roles in
government and in government relations inside The Beltway. He
works with government agencies to limit the impact of
regulations on lawful international business activities. Lemon
has also worked within the government in the Commerce Department
and as a hill staffer.
Lemon said that "Like many others,
I've always felt helpless to do much about children receiving
inappropriate messages from the media. Then I found the PTC, an
effective organization that enables ordinary citizens to
actually change this situation. As PTC's Chapter Director for
the D.C. metropolitan region, I look forward to working with a
wide variety of people who believe, regardless of their
backgrounds, religious beliefs or political persuasions, that
all children deserve our best efforts in this important part of
their lives." |
