 CHAPTER DIRECTOR BIO:
Brenda Fox is a native of South Carolina
and
is the founder and CEO of Bequeath Inc, which
provides communication and planning strategies
to organizations as well as individuals in
Columbia and the surrounding areas. In
addition, Fox is a member of the Film Arts
Foundation, and has been an outspoken supporter
of family-friendly television for nearly two
decades.
"I am honored to be the local
leader for the Parents Television Council," Fox
said. "The Columbia chapter will immediately
begin a campaign to educate parents, lawmakers,
educators and others of the vulgarity and
gratuitous sexual content that are constant on
television and in video games marketed to and
viewed by children. We will help citizens voice
their concerns about the content of these
programs to their local representatives,
television networks, and video game industry
while motivating them to voice their support for
socially responsible programming."
