LOS ANGELES (December 21, 2006) - The
Parents Television Council™, the nation's most
influential advocacy organization protecting children
against sex, violence and profanity in entertainment, today
announced that it has awarded its prestigious Entertainment
Seal of Approval™ to Paramount Pictures and Walden Media for
co-producing the new movie, "Charlotte's Web."
Based on the classic children's book,
"Charlotte's Web" highlights the virtues of loyalty, trust
and sacrifice. This live-action adaptation includes the
voices of Oprah Winfrey, Julia Roberts, Robert Redford, John
Cleese, Reba McEntire and others. Dakota Fanning plays
Fern. "Charlotte's Web" was released in theaters nationwide
on December 15 and is rated G.
