Family Values Cinema and Parents
Television Council Collaborate on
Offering Families A Trustworthy DVD
Of The Month Club
Camarillo, Ca—May
21—Family
Values Cinema and the Parents
Television Council have joined
forces to launch a distinctive and
affordable “family friendly”
DVD-of-the-month club in answer to
America’s demand for positive,
family-oriented film entertainment.
“We’re hoping these wholesome films
will be enjoyed by people of all
faiths and help bring families
together -- whether at home, at
church, or other faith-based
community events. These films are
cherished by all people, whether
they’re eight years old or eighty,”
says Family Values Cinema Founder
Patty Leonard.
“In keeping with our mission of
protecting children against sex,
profanity and violence in
entertainment, we are pleased to
join with Family Values Cinema in
launching this landmark program that
provides a reliable source for
families to purchase home video
products,” says PTC President Tim
Winter. “We encourage all families
to take advantage of the Family
Values Cinema DVD-of-the-month club
which will bring the best in
family-oriented, wholesome films to
homes across America.”
Family Values Cinema films have
received the Dove Foundation’s
“Family Approved” seal and the
approval of The National Board of
Mothers. Sourcing the very best in
“family-friendly” films, Family
Values Cinema offers subscribers the
chance to receive, keep, and build
their personal family film
collections. FVC has made it
irresistibly affordable to try out
its movie club. For as little as
$4.95 for the first month, families
will receive their introductory DVD
package. Thereafter, the cost of one
family friendly movie a month (with
all the extras) is under $10, and
the cost of the two-movie package is
under $15. And, unlike other
monthly DVD programs, members keep
their DVDs for their personal family
library. With each month’s movie
selections, members also receive fun
“intermission” programs as well as a
Family Discussion Guide (to
encourage conversation about the
movie from a faith and values
perspective). To learn more about FVC, visit

With Family Values Cinema, there is
no more wasting time in the video
store or surfing for reviews on the
internet. FVC screens thousands of
films and, with significant input
and oversight by ‘The National Board
of Mothers’ (a group of select
“moms” who review movies based on a
rigorous family friendly criteria),
FVC selects only the very best and
most wholesome family content.
“These are movies I want my child to
see, and they are films parents will
really enjoy too,” explains Leonard.
As a subscriber, part of the member
fee will go directly to support the
Parents Television Council.
