Between the fast-paced world of teen culture and the negative media influences that bombard teens, parenting is a challenging and unpredictable task. Parents struggle valiantly to keep up with their children -- but how much do you know about your teen's world?

 

Now, the National Youth Anti-Drug Media Campaign has opened a new Parent Chronicles section on the Internet. This website acts to immerse parents in teen culture and help them reduce risky behaviors. With quizzes about teen culture, action items for parents to try on their own, and an online forum for discussion with other parents, the National Youth Anti-Drug Media Campaign is a tremendous resource for helping parents to understand and provide guidance to their teenage children. Reba, 8:30 p.m. (Eastern) Life In the series finale, Cheyenne and Van ask Reba if they can move back in with her after Van accidentally starts a fire at their new house. 

Life with Derek:  When Derek Met Sally, 10:30 p.m. (Eastern) Disney Channel Derek is attracted to a cute waitress at Smellie Nellie’s, even though she has a boyfriend; Jamie tells Lizzie he likes her.

Lemur Kingdom, 8:30 p.m. (Eastern) Animal Planet Juno ventures away from the graveyard with her group to live as forest nomads and Amazon takes the jungle for herself. 

Everybody Loves Raymond, 8:30 p.m. (Eastern) TBS Ray convinces Debra to start calling his mother “Mom.”  When Debra complies, Marie’s reaction is quite unexpected.

The Princess Diaries, 8:00 p.m. (Eastern) ABC Family An awkward young girl is transformed into the princess she didn’t know she was in this 2001 rated G film. Anne Hathaway stars as the princess and Julie Andrews stars as her royal grandmother.

A Cinderella Story, 8:00 p.m. (Eastern) Oxygen A young girl (Hilary Duff) gets an obnoxious new stepmother and stepsisters.  She starts a secret e-mail relationship with the school football star and they have a romantic connection at school dance.  The movie has an MPAA rating of PG for mild language and innuendo.

Trading Spaces, 9:00 p.m. (Eastern) TLC Two people, with the help of designers, redecorate a room in each others’ homes.

Eddie’s Million-Dollar Cook-Off, 9:00 p.m. (Eastern) Disney Channel A talented fourteen-year-old must juggle his baseball playoffs and a cooking contest.

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, 8:00 p.m. (Eastern) ABC The experts help redesign a man’s home so that is accessible for the handicapped.  He was injured in a car accident and it is thrilling is able to move back in with his family and out of the retirement development for the handicapped.   

Everybody Hates Chris, 8:00 p.m. (Eastern) CW Chris isn’t able to buy the really expensive perfume his mother covets for Mother’s Day, so he gets her a knockoff brand that causes her to break out in a rash.   

Iron Chef America, 9:00 p.m. (Eastern) Food Network Chefs go head to head, cooking dishes that judges then taste and rate.  Whoever receives the highest ratings wins the challenge. 

The Lizzie McGuire Movie, 9:00 p.m. (Eastern) Disney Channel After finishing junior high school, Lizzie travels to Rome with her classmates and meets a pop singer. 

Home Improvement, 9:00 p.m. (Eastern) Nickelodeon Tim’s son Randy writes an article for the school on Binford Tool’s.  Randy exposes their unimpressive environmental history.

Hidden Places, 9:00 p.m. (Eastern) Hallmark Channel A man looking for work helps a widow save her family apple orchard.

Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern, 8:00 p.m. (Eastern) Travel Channel Andrew taste tests strange foods from across the continents. 

Antiques Roadshow:  Las Vegas, Nevada, 8:00 p.m. (Eastern) PBS This is part 1 of a 3 series arc set in Las Vegas.  Items consist of drawing by folk musician Woody Guthrie among other things. 

Unwrapped, 9:00 p.m. (Eastern) Food Network American drive-ins are explored, beginning with one of the oldest ones in Texas.
