Don't Forget the Lyrics on Fox

By Caroline Schulenburg

Don’t Forget the Lyrics has once again earned the privilege of being called our Best of the Week. The episode which aired on November 23rd followed Daniel Walters, a wedding singer, and Tricia Kelley, a teacher, as they tried to remember the lyrics to popular songs in order to win up to a million dollars.

Daniel Walters was the first contestant to perform. He has been a wedding singer for nearly ten years, as well as an Elks lodge member in his home town. He performed songs such as “Bad, Bad, Leroy Brown” and “Endless Love,” but unfortunately didn’t go home with any money. The next contestant, Tricia Kelley, is a voice teacher who dreamed of opening up her own music school. She sang “Dancing in the Street,” ”Lola,” “Proud Mary,” and others.  Tricia ultimately won a hundred thousand dollars.

Don’t Forget the Lyrics continues to deliver quality family programming free of unsavory content, and filled with fun music and laughter. The program can be enjoyed by the entire family, and as such has earned the title of Best of the Week.
