It is never too
early to learn another language. The energetic Slangman’s World
introduces young children to different languages and cultures through animation
and catchy original songs..
The Slangman’s
World DVD presents songs teaching words in French, Spanish, German, Arabic,
Italian, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese and Korean, as well as different native
dishes from all over the world. One story also teaches the lesson that children
should treat their toys and possessions responsibly. The DVD also includes
several trailers for other children’s videos and a “rough cut” of the animation
for one episode.
Slangman’s World
will get kids excited about different cultures and languages, and through its
use of animation and song makes learning fun. The Parents Television Council is
pleased to award Slangman’s World the PTC Seal of ApprovalTM.
The PTC does not recommend this DVD for children under age three.
