A Double Shot at Love with the Ikki Twins on MTV

Episode Summary

WARNING: GRAPHIC CONTENT

According to MTV, what could be better than a lovelorn bi-sexual, marginally famous, scantily-clad car model?  Why, two lovelorn bi-sexual, marginally famous, scantily-clad car models, of course - and identical twins no less! A Double Shot at Love with the Ikki Twins (Tuesdays, 10:00 p.m. ET) features the self-proclaimed “world’s hottest twins” – Rikki and Vikki – as they choose from among 12 straight men and 12 lesbians vying for their attention.  On the January 27th episode, the Ikki Twins lived up to their name by sharing their beds with each of the final three contestants.  For strong sexually suggestive content, A Double Shot at Love with the Ikki Twins has been named Worst Cable TV Show of the Week.

For this episode, the twins treat the final three contestants – Trevor, Scotty, and Rebekah - to a wild weekend in Las Vegas.  Each contestant will get some alone time with the twins over the course of the weekend and the winner of the following challenge gets to determine the order of each date.  It being Vegas, the contestants must play a card game.  But this one is not a game of chance.  They must transport the playing cards spread across the length of bar to a table several feet away using only the suction of their mouths in a game called “Suck and Blow.”

Trevor wins the challenge and allows Rebekah to go first.  As Rebekah leaves the suite to meet up with the twins, she tells Trevor and Scotty, “Have a great night giving each other bl** jobs.”  During the date, Rebekah tells the twins that she’s done dating.  She’s ready to have a family (apparently forgetting that she already has a four-year-old at home.)  After dinner, Rikki (or Vikki – the viewer cannot tell which, and it really doesn’t matter anyway) escorts Rebekah to her bedroom where they have an intimate conversation in bed.  After making out with her, the other twin pulls Rebekah into her bedroom.  Rebekah and this twin share a strong sexual attraction and immediately start kissing in her bed. Things quickly heat up.  The twin takes off her top and later explains, “There’s nothing better than being skin-on-skin with somebody when you’re trying to connect.”  She goes on later to confess, “I can tell you Rebekah did not sleep in the same room with Trevor and Scotty.  I connected with her on every level imaginable.”

The following evening, it is Scotty’s turn to impress the ladies.  But after his heavy drinking the night before, he barely has the energy to stay awake.  The twins try everything to reinvigorate their exhausted lover, alternately pouring ice and hot candle wax on his naked chest. Scotty doesn’t even flinch.  The twins give him a private exhibition on their stripper pole – still with no result. Finally, one twin brings him to her bedroom.  He gropes at her thong-clad rear end and whispers sweet nothings to her.  The other twin pulls him into her bed, but the befuddled Scotty can’t stop talking about the first twin.  Thus, he loses his “Shot at Love” with either of them.

Once Trevor’s turn comes around, the twins compete for his affection.  Sandwiched in between the two girls while they sit on the couch, he makes out with one as the other fumes.  “These girls are just all over me,” Trevor boasts. “I have an intimate kiss with Rikki, then I have a great kiss with Vikki.”  He gets more “face” time with each of them in bed.  But when he reveals to Vikki that he’s in love with her, the confusing feelings she has for the other two contestants are too much for her to handle.  She cuts the evening short.

In the first episode, Vikki and Rikki explained that they don’t share lovers.  The winner of the show’s competition presumably will stay with only one of the twins.  Yet, throughout this episode the sisters take turns necking with each contestant.  The fantasy of a threesome that was only alluded to in the show’s first two seasons has crept closer to be fulfilled.  Who knows how far the septic series will go next season, as cable television continues to become …ahem, ikkier
