The Cleveland Show on Fox

Only a Christmas-themed show by Seth McFarlane would feature a child cursing at Santa, a strip-club scene, a reindeer peeping through the window at two bears having sex, and the aforementioned reindeer sodomizing Santa. That’s exactly what was shown on Sunday, August 8^th during a rerun of The Cleveland Show (Sundays, 8:30 p.m.) The fetid content earned the episode the title of Worst TV Show of the Week.

The story begins as Cleveland’s boss, Mr. Waterman asks him to fill in as Santa during the company Christmas party. Waterman explains that the employee who normally plays Santa “hanged himself in his car port last night… Don't know the details but apparently he had raped a bunch of folks...  It was old ladies.  He raped old ladies.” While Cleveland plays Santa, he inadvertently informs his five-year-old step-son, Rallo, that his real dad is a bum and not an undercover FBI agent as his mother has been telling him.

Devastated and resentful of Santa Claus, Rallo reads a succinct, profanity-laced letter to Santa during the annual Christmas pageant: “Dear Santa, [bleeped ‘F*ck’] you and [bleeped ‘f*ck’] Christmas.”

Meanwhile, Rallo’s sister, Roberta, frees Mr. Waterman’s captive reindeer. But rather than frolic in the woods, the creature goes on a hedonistic rampage. In one purely gratuitous scene, the reindeer has climbed a ladder to the second story window in order to watch Tim the Bear and his wife have sex. When the wife sees the reindeer peeping-tom, she licks her lips and purrs toward it.

To restore Rallo’s Christmas spirit, Cleveland resolves to find Rallo’s real dad, Robert, and convince him to visit his son. Of course, since this is a Seth MacFarlane show, Cleveland finds Robert at a strip club called, Skanxxx. Robert does eventually visit Rallo and his daughter Roberta on Christmas day, explaining, “Last night I realized it's important for me to see my sperms on Christmas.”

As the episode concludes, the real Santa Claus stands outside the house and listens to the family sing a Christmas carol together. Suddenly, the deviant reindeer comes up from behind, knocks Santa to the ground and mounts him. As the camera pans away, the sounds of bells jingling is made to imply that the reindeer is violating old Kris Kringle.

There are over a hundred days left before Christmas. Plenty of time to get your shopping done, but not nearly enough time before the next wretched MacFarlane Christmas show.

For explicit language and strong sexual content, The Cleveland Show has been named the Worst TV Show of the Week.
