Be prepared for Zoom, a hilarious
ride through the lives of a band of young misfit superheroes. Full of
adventures and laughs, this film is guaranteed to entertain.
Jack "Zoom" Shepard (Tim Allen) gave up
being a superhero long ago. Having lost most of his powers, he has avoided
his past like the plague. However, when the military decides to reactivate
the superhero academy at the mysterious Area 52, they desperately need Jack
to train the new recruits: Cindy (Ryan Newman), a 6 year-old with super
strength who dreams of being a princess, Tucker (Spencer Breslin), a 12
year-old with expanding body parts, Summer (Kate Mara), a telekinetic 16
year-old, and Dylan (Michael Cassidy), a 17 year-old with ESP who has a
tendency to disappear—literally. At first, Jack is reluctant to train the
kids, but after getting to know them, he realizes that he can learn as much
from them as they can from him. Little do they know, Zoom's archenemy,
Concussion (Kevin Zegers), has resurfaced and is out for revenge. Now it's
up to Jack and the kids to work together save the day!
Zoom
focuses on the importance of acceptance and
teamwork, as well as always doing the right thing. However, due to mild
violence noted below, Zoom is recommended for children eight and
older.
