Kit Kittredge is a feature film based on characters from the American Girl book series.  The lead character is Kit Kittredge, a young girl growing up in the early depression years of the 1930s. Kit and her friends are thrust into several adventures, during which they discover a group of thieves. The film has minimal violence – at one point a villain is hit on the head with a shovel. There is no foul language or sex depicted.  

 

Because of its wholesome nature and family-friendly messages, the Parents Television Council is proud to award Kit Kittredge with the PTC Seal of Approval TM. The PTC recommends this film for viewers 6 and up.
