In this direct-to-DVD release, a group of children magically enter a music box, where a cursed prince has been trapped for a hundred years.  The only way for the children to save the prince and regain their own freedom is to dance along with the various characters inside the box – a clown, a cat, a bird, a pirate and others.

With its fairy-tale story and fun music, this DVD provides young children with an opportunity to get up off the couch and exercise, learning dance moves from various styles, such as ballet, tap, jazz, and hip-hop in the process. The DVD also has several “behind the scenes” features, including interviews with the various dancers and technical crew behind the production.

For its upbeat, fun and educational value, the Parents Television Council is proud to award The Music Box with the PTC Seal of ApprovalTM.The Parents Television Council does not recommend this DVD for children under age three.
