State of Grace

ABC Family

On Monday, August 19th, ABC Family will conclude this season of State of Grace by airing two new back-to-back episodes. This heartwarming series is the coming-of-age story of Hannah Rayburn, a Jewish girl with overprotective parents, and her soulful and spirited classmate, Grace McKee -- two best friends growing up in North Carolina in the mid ‘60s.

According to the ABC Family Channel website, the first episode, airing at 8:00 p.m. (ET), finds Grace returning home from a trip with her mother. Upon her return, Grace keeps Hannah at a distance, bringing the future of their friendship into question. In the second episode, which will air at 8:30 p.m. (ET), a young doctoral candidate digs up a family secret while interviewing Tattie for a book he is writing.

State of Grace is an innocent and wholesome series that consistently promotes positive values and emphasizes the importance of family. The PTC recently named State of Grace the best original cable series for the 2001-2002 season.
