Inspired by a true story, Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye follows a deaf woman who is hired to work in surveillance at the FBI because of her aptitude at reading lips. Sue’s interaction with her teammates – best friend Lucy, pompous Myles, computer nerd Tara, laid-back Australian Bobby, and team leader (and low-key love interest) Jack – and her love for her hearing-ear dog Levi form the center of the show. A delightful combination of humor, action and crime investigation, this truly unique and inspiring series brings a new (and family-friendly) twist to the crime drama genre.

Because episodes focus on an FBI team investigating and solving crimes, some mild violence, such as fistfights or guns being fired, does occasionally occur; but bloodshed is rare, and in general violence is portrayed in a very restrained manner. Sex and profanity are never problems for the series.

Because of its lack of sex, violence and profanity and its uplifting and family-friendly messages, the PTC has awarded Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye with the PTC Seal of ApprovalTM. This program is appropriate for viewers of all ages.
