It’s the sixth season of Desperate Housewives and things have not calmed down for the residents of Wisteria Lane. Susan and Mike have remarried, but the honeymoon is over when Susan’s daughter is mysteriously attacked. Bree Van de Kamp is having an affair with Susan’s ex-husband Carl. Gabrielle Solis has adopted her husband’s troubled teenaged niece. Lynette Scavo is pregnant with twins. Katherine Mayfair has a breakdown after Mike leaves her for Susan. And a new family moves to Wisteria Lane and immediately causes suspicions in the neighborhood.
Sexual innuendo, implied sexual activity and sexual content continues to be a driving force for this series. Bree is frequently seen engaging in sexual activity with Carl at a seedy motel. Language includes words such as “ass,” “bitch,” “damn,” and “hell.” Violence, while not common, is occasionally present. In one episode, a mysterious person strangles Susan’s daughter Julie, leaving her in a coma.
Desperate Housewives is not recommended for viewers under age 18.
