Now in its fourth season, New Girl continues to follow the kooky antics of Jess and her four male roommates, with particular emphasis on their hapless romantic relationships. This season, Nick and Jess negotiate the awkward minefield of their post-breakup friendship. Meanwhile, Schmidt’s obsession with Cece is rekindled now that she is once again single.
Sexual dialogue is often frank and explicit. In the fourth season premiere, Jess attempts to use a closed fist as a metaphor for five friends banding together to find sex partners at the wedding reception they are about to attend. Language includes words like “douche-bag” and “dick” used fairly regularly. Violence is not a problem for the program.
New Girl is not recommended for viewers under age 18.
Show may include gratuitous
