The Emmy-award winning The Amazing Race returns for a 20th season, with teams of two working together to race through various tasks at different locations around the world. Each round ends in a pit stop, where the last team to arrive is either eliminated from the game or stripped of all their luggage and money for the next leg of the race. Teams participating include a pair of former Big Brother contestants, married professional clowns from the Ringling Brothers Circus, an Iraq War vet and his wife, and twin brothers. The team who finishes first in the final round receives a million-dollar prize.

The Amazing Race’s only major content issue is language. The moderate amount of foul language includes one or more uses each of the following words: “frigging,” “damn,” “hell,” ‘ass,” “bitch,” and “sucks.”  Sometimes teams are very short-tempered with each other under pressure and there can be some nasty arguments and insults exchanged. Occasionally, contestants discuss their relationships; but in general, sex and violence are not problems for this program.

The Amazing Race 20 is not recommended for viewers under age 10.
