FOX Tuesday, at 930 ET

 PTC Summary:

The Mindy Project

(Fox/sitcom)

9:30 p.m. (ET) Tuesday

Production Companies: Universal TV, 20th Century Fox Television
Producers: Mindy Kaling, Howard Klein, B.J. Novak, Charles McDougall
Creator: Mindy Kaling

Successful but dissatisfied ob-gyn Mindy Lahiri desperately searches for love, romance, and sex in her life, aided and abetted by her friends at the hospital where she works: attractive but obnoxious Danny Castellano, regular sex partner Jeremy, receptionist Betsy, and best friend Gwen.

The first episode contained frequent explicit references to sex addiction, casual sex, genitalia, Mindy’s desire for sex with others, and her ongoing tryst with Jeremy. Profanity included a scene of Mindy imagining a talking Barbie doll, which tells her, “You’re acting like a (bleeped f******) idiot.” The doll’s lips are blurred. Violence was not a problem in the first episode.

It is PTC policy to reserve traffic-light ratings until three episodes have aired.
