The PTC's “
4 Every Girl Campaign” praised the efforts of Secret Deodorant’s "Mean Stinks" for holding the "Biggest. Assembly. Ever." Thursday at schools across the country to combat girl-to-girl bullying. “We are grateful for companies like Procter & Gamble which are using their products and their platforms to combat serious issues facing young girls today, such as bullying. The media culture we live in does not respect young girls, and far too frequently it exploits them. That is why we created the 4 Every Girl campaign. Young girls need to feel valued for all of their qualities, and they must be inspired to look past the negative and degrading messages that the entertainment media is so eager to foist upon them. We urge other companies to follow P&G’s exemplary leadership and step forward to help create positive change like this in our society,” said PTC President Tim Winter.
