Don't miss PTC on "Entertainment Tonight" this evening!

UPDATE, Thursday 10:15 AM ET. Entertainment Tonight has posted the segment here. PTC's own Director of Grassroots Communication and Advocacy, Melissa Henson, will appear tonight on nationally syndicated Entertainment Tonight. She will be discussing the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards, and the PTC’s admonition to MTV and its parent company, Viacom, to refrain from telecasting the type of explicit sexual content and other offensive material that we’ve seen in years past. Moreover, we have called on MTV to accurately rate the program in accordance with its own standards and the guidelines set forth in the TV Parental Guidelines. Thanks to PTC members, dozens a media outlets have been covering this story, and we earnestly hope that MTV will do the right thing for parents and families.
