Netflix and Facebook Partner to Take Sexualization of Children to a New Low

big-mouth-netflix Netflix’s Big Mouth – the animated series that sexualizes children in incredibly sick and disturbing ways -- might be the filthiest thing… anywhere. And the creators and writers know it. That’s what they’re aiming for. In a recent interview with The A.V. Club, co-creator Nick Kroll said, “Someone wrote a quote that we really liked: ‘Big Mouth gives zero f*cks.’ As we’ve continued to work on the show, we have tried to keep that in mind: We don’t want to soften or dull the hard, big, crazy jokes.” [caption id="attachment_8016" align="alignright" width="178"]bigmouthScene3 Example of a Big Mouth Episode[/caption] “Yes, I believe that the show’s incredibly dirty, and if you told me your 13-year-old wasn’t allowed to watch it, I’d be like, sure, I get it. But your 13-year-old is very likely watching or has access to much more crazy, dirty, and disgusting things on the internet that are much less aware of the messages they’re putting out into the world. Selfishly—I made this show—I want as many people to see it as possible.” Either the writers are intending to put these highly sexualized images of children in front of an adult audience, OR they are deliberately creating and marketing graphic, sexualized, TV-MA-rated content to kids. Which is worse? As if this weren’t bad enough, Netflix is partnering with Facebook to deliver a new Facebook game called, “Hand Masters: Play with Yourself.” The social media posts on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter are promoting the "contest" using a series of emojis suggestive of masturbation and includes a video clip of an adolescent boy with his hands down his pants being encouraged to masturbate by a hairy monster. bigmouthGame Further proof, as if any was needed, that Netflix is a bad actor – especially where children are concerned. ------------------------------------------------------ Contact Facebook and Netflix today to let them know you are disgusted by their efforts to sexualize children.
