One of the nation's leading anti-sex trafficking organizations has awarded the PTC for aiding in the fight to protect families.
Devoted to protecting women, children and families and combating human trafficking, prostitution, and pornography, the Preventing Abuse Foundation seeks to educate, motivate, and activate the public by identifying the problems and focusing on the solutions to the issues of sex trafficking, child abduction, internet safety, drug abuse, and pornography.
During a PAF conference on March 20th, Preventing Abuse President Tony Nassif presented the Parents Television Council with the Foundation’s Family Protection Award. “You give people hope, by giving them a positive pathway to victory – a way to stop the degradation of our fellow human beings, and the decline of our culture,” said Mr. Nassif. Other recipients of the award have included Senator Charles Grassley, Iowa Governor Terry Branstad, and The Salvation Army.
“It’s an honor and a privilege to receive this award,” replied PTC President Tim Winter. “There is no more basic and fundamental human reight than to be free of bondage. The PTC is proud to raise its voice with the Preventing Abuse Foundation’s work on behalf of children and families. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your chorus.”
