PTC Thanks NFL, NBC and Timberlake for Keeping the Super Bowl Safe for Families

The Parents Television Council praises everyone involved in ensuring last night’s Super Bowl was safe for families.

“We offer hearty congratulations to the NFL, NBC, the corporate advertisers and, of course, Justin Timberlake, for placing sport over spectacle and making Super Bowl LII 99.9% safe for the children and families who were watching. Proof of this is that we’re all talking about a great football game – and the City of Brotherly Love’s first Super Bowl championship – rather than the broadcast itself. We know it was an incredibly large undertaking by all concerned, and we’re thankful,” said PTC President Tim Winter. “We are especially grateful to Mr. Timberlake for keeping his promise that the halftime show would be safe and appropriate for the entire family. Indeed it was.”
