Thanks to you and your courage to fight for families, MOST of the Little Demon Advertisers we’ve reached out to appear to have pulled their sponsorship… but one of those sponsors is back.
A couple of weeks ago, I told you that KFC bought advertising time on “Little Demon.” You and many other like-minded parents and grandparents took action, calling on KFC to pull its ads. The next week there were no KFC ads at all.
But it looks like KFC (and its Yum! Brands corporate cousins Pizza Hut and Taco Bell) reconsidered and determined that the content on “Little Demon” is within their corporate standards.
KFC was back again last week. Not only that, but other YUM! Brands – Taco Bell and Pizza Hut – also purchased advertising on Little Demon.
We may not know exactly what conversations took place in the corporate office suite, but as someone who personally worked in corporate finance at cable and broadcast television networks, and as someone who personally had a seat at the table, I can assure you this:
Somebody at KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell made an affirmative decision that the content on Little Demon was within their standards. Keep in mind that the program content has included satanic imagery, full-frontal female nudity, dozens and dozens of F- and S-words, graphic gore and violence, occultism, recreational drug use, and more.
That means KFC, Taco Bell, and Pizza Hut have chosen to EMBRACE the dark, depraved worldview presented on Little Demon.
They have chosen to endorse the vision of series creator, Seth Kirschner, who said, “We are going to keep going for it, until we are told no.”
If these restaurant chains are doubling-down on their support for Little Demon, then we need to double-down on OUR response!
Click here to take action now!
We are asking you to do two things:
First, please contact the brand managers for KFC, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut. They need to know that unless they distance themselves from the content on Little Demon, you will take your business elsewhere!
And second, please consider choosing one of their competitors who is not sponsoring Little Demon.
Let’s send a LOUD and CLEAR message to Disney and FXX that if they want to pollute the airwaves with this kind of toxic content, they will have to eat the cost -- because no responsible sponsor will want to be associated with it.
And also, please consider making a donation to help support the PTC’s Advertiser Accountability campaign. We can’t do this without your charitable giving. Every gift helps – and helps us to hold these sponsors accountable for the content they make possible with their ad dollars.
Please, take action today. Because Our Children Are Watching.
