UP’s Bringing Up Bates Earns PTC Seal of Approval®

Bringing Up Bates is an upbeat, inspirational, celebration of family, and how love, patience, and deep faith combine to make family life both strong and fun. Gil Bates and his wife Kelly Jo are the devoted parents of 19 children, who range in age from toddlers to married adults. A family so large presents plenty of challenges, but Gil and Kelly Jo meet them all with love, a sense of humor, and a deeply-held Christian faith.
