Subject: Please Help to Protect Children

Dear President Pro Tempore Atkins and Senator Portantino: As an American who is greatly concerned about the health and wellbeing of children, I respectfully ask your support for two measures that are currently under consideration by the California Senate: AB-2408 and AB-2273. Both bills would protect children from the proven harm that comes from their consumption of digital media – especially the harm from social media platforms.

Please place the health and safety of children over the financial greed of those who would profit from their physical, mental and emotional harm. Thank you.
