A born storyteller, author Susan Wales, wife of producer Ken Wales, grew up in the South in Alabama and Georgia. Wales is a popular speaker throughout the United States. A partner in Gaga Animation with Jeff Holder, former vice president of animation of SONY, she has also spoken internationally on storytelling in production in India and France.

Wales co-authored Faith in God and Generals and The Amazing Grace of Freedom, companion books for the films Gods and Generals and Amazing Grace. Best known for her Match Made in Heaven series with longtime friend Ann Platz, also Guideposts books, Susan wrote an etiquette book, Social Graces and an entertaining book, The Pleasure of Your Company with Platz. With over two-dozen books published, Wales also wrote the popular political thriller series, The Chase, The Replacement and The Candidate. Her next novel, which will be released in 2008, is a Hollywood thriller.

A frequent guest of radio and TV, Susan co-hosted a weekly radio talk show with LA disc jockey, Steve Boalt on KFSG for two years in Los Angeles. Wales is a contributor to magazines and her stories are also published in Chicken Soup for the Soul, Chicken Soup for the Father’s Soul and Stories of Heart.

A producer for various TV interview show segments, Susan is also the Executive Producer of the Annual MOVIEGUIDE® Awards. She assisted her husband Ken, the Executive Producer of the CBS series based on Catherine Marshall’s book, Christy. The Wales live in Pacific Palisades, California. Their daughter Megan and granddaughter Hailey live in New Orleans, where their son-in-law is an All Pro NFL player with the New Orleans Saints.
