Netflix Program ‘A Man in Full’ Scene is Akin to Porn – PTC Calls for its Removal

LOS ANGELES (May 14, 2024) – The Parents Television and Media Council (PTC) called on Netflix to remove an explicit scene from “A Man in Full,” saying that it is too sexually graphic even for the episode’s TV-MA rating.

In episode 6, a man’s fully erect penis is shown.

“Viewers of ‘A Man in Full’ have been shocked and dismayed at the inclusion of this graphic scene – which would be seen in a pornographic film, not on a Netflix series. Netflix has crossed the line and should remove this sexually graphic scene,” said Melissa Henson, vice president, Parents Television and Media Council.

“Through our research, Netflix liberally applies a TV-MA rating to TV programs, even if it’s only a few utterances of explicit language on a cooking program. That is what makes ‘A Man in Full’ scene even more shocking – viewers would not have expected to see something so graphic even with the TV-MA rating. Netflix must act now.”
