LOS ANGELES (March 28, 2022) – The Parents Television and Media Council (PTC) commended ABC broadcast standards team for its work ensuring that profanity did not air during the March 27 Oscars broadcast.
“We appreciate and applaud the ABC broadcast standards team for doing a superb job at ensuring viewing audiences did not hear profanity in the U.S. broadcast,” said PTC President Tim Winter.
“It’s disappointing that audiences were exposed to a physical altercation, as we are concerned about the impact especially on younger eyes.”
