“From interesting people and places to wide-open spaces,” this half-hour documentary series about modern-day life in the West discusses Western-themed interests and activities. Hosted by Ash Cooper, the program explores everything from horse breeding, to country music, to the making of bronze statues commemorating Frederick Remington’s Western art, to modern cabin and Western home architecture, to profiles of individuals important to the history of the West, to a cowboy-themed “poetry slam.” Also, every episode includes a recipie from the “Cowboy Kitchen.”
Reflecting a lifestyle and a culture that is entertaining, exciting, interesting, and engaging, the program is sometimes humorous, often dramatic, and always fascinating, and is ideal for curious adults (and children!) and Western enthusiasts alike.
Because of its educational value and family-friendly fun, the Parents Television Council is proud to award
