Just ahead of a blizzard, the Montgomery family – work-obsessed father Charles, cold mother Judith, teens Alexander and Jennifer, and little Emily – arrive at their sumptuous cabin for Christmas. But soon, cracks show: Charles is always on the phone on business, Alexander is cruel to his siblings and, feeling lonely and unloved, Judith decides that after the holidays she will seek a divorce. But when a family of strangers, the Tuckers, seek shelter from the storm, the Montgomerys take them in…thus beginning what narrator will remember as “the best Christmas ever!” Angels in the Snow is a warm and inspiring drama, in which the dysfunctional Montgomery family comes to learn lessons about coping with loss, hope, family, and mutual love and respect. The film contains no negative content, and has a surprisingly eerie twist ending, which underlines the importance of living every day to its fullest. Because of its emphasis on positive values, the Parents Television Council is proud to award Angels in the Snow with the PTC Seal of Approval®. The PTC recommends this movie for all viewers over age five. Angels in the Snow airs at 7 and 9 p.m. Eastern/Pacific (6 and 8 p.m. Central/Mountain) Sunday, November 22nd on UP. UP is available on DirecTV channel 338, DISH Network 188, and most cable systems.
